We are sad to announce that on February 25, 2022, at the age of 86, Nona Watson Moreland of Mobile, Alabama, born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Robertson Watson, Sr. and Helen Olson Watson; and her husband Ronald Lee Moreland. She is survived by: her children, Robertson L. Moreland, Sr., Laura Perez (David), Markie Rikard (Mark) and Sara R. Moreland; her grandchildren, Druhan Moreland Goff (Preston), R. Lee Moreland, Jr. (Julia), Mary Katherine Moreland Griffin (Jonathan), Courtney Rikard Vernon (Addison), Fanane Perez, Andrew Reeves Perez and Mary Alice Perez; and her siblings, David Robertson Watson, Jr. (Sara) and Charlotte W. Goodson (Don). She is also survived by her 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, one may make a memorial donation to the Something Beautiful for God Capital Campaign at St. Ignatius Catholic Church.
