Nancy Wheyland Helton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2025, at the age of 88, Nancy Wheyland Helton (Mobile, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eleanore Wheyland and Lord Edward Wheyland Sr.; her brother Lord Edward "Bubba" Wheyland Jr.; and her husband Kendrel Martin Helton. She is survived by: her daughters, Lori Lewis (Frank Lewis) of Nashville and Elizabeth Nuwayhid (Ramsay Nuwayhid) of Huntsville; and her grandchildren, Lauren Lewis Pelles (Andrew), Gregory Lewis (Vicky), Kathryn Damson (Brandon), Blake Nuwayhid and Allyson Cooper (Chris). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pine Crest Cemetery (1939 Dauphin Island Pkwy, Mobile, AL 36605).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Watch Foundation or First Baptist Church of Huntsville.
