He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Anderson Sheffield and Claudia Draughon Sheffield; his sisters, Bessie Danley and Dorothy Patterson; his grandson Sgt. Brock Rollins; and his close friends, Charlie Elliott and Warren Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Luci Sheffield; his children, Ralph Sheffield of Mobile, Michael Sheffield (Donna) of Mobile, Delphine Sheffield of Mobile, Katherine McClure of Spanish Fort, Lawanna Sharpless (Johnny) of Orange Beach, Jacquelyn Dykes (John) of Morgan City, LA and Melanie Manderson of Mobile; his cousin Jimmy Holloway; and his sister Luci. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a memorial fund set aside to build a new church in Brazil in memory of Mickey Sheffield.
