He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Monroe Byrd and Reba Faye Covan; and his brother Richard Byrd. He is survived by: his wife Delorese; his children, Jessica Byrd and Orrin Byrd; and his siblings, Janice Coffman (Jimmy), Dwight Byrd and David Byrd (Darlene). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
