He was predeceased by: his wife Connie McKelvaine; and his children, Donna McKelvaine Williams and Michael E. McKelvaine. He is survived by: his daughter Susan Stanfield Slater (Joseph); his grandchildren, Robert Andrew Williams (Lauren) and LeighAnne Williams Bush (Daniel); and his great grandchildren, Peyton Williams, Trey Bush and Jack Bush.
