She was predeceased by: her former husband Coy Wayne Hilbert; her husband John Augustave Carlson; her granddaughter Mysti M. Sheffield; and her sister Sally Dawn Baker. She is survived by: her children, Tawnya D. Mathiews, Liana L. Smiedala and Blake D. Hilbert; her grandchildren, Hunter M. Mathiews, Rowdy Begeman, Beau Hilbert and Robert Sheffield; her great grandchildren, Tessa Nicole Brock, Tara Ryan Sheffield, Gage Breydon Sheffield, Rayne Kahlan Sheffield and Rowdy Daylan Begeman; her brother Preston Prater; and her sister-in-law Darlene Prater.
