She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Curtis Matthews and Emmie Bush Matthews; and her siblings, Sara Boazman (Mark) and Bill Matthews (Pauline). She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Mark Boazman of Tuscaloosa, Don Crum of Frisco City, Margaret Boazman (Homer) of Mobile, Mary Matthews Harrell of Excel and Cheryl Johnson (William) of Greenville. She is also survived by 1 great-niece and 1 great-nephew; and 3 great-great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Gosport Baptist Church. A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gosport Cemetery (66 Po Box, Gosport, IN 47433).
