We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2024, at the age of 96, Lorna Hoyt in Mobile, Alabama, born in Cuba City, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Lorna has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her husband James L. Hoyt; her children, Arland and Annette; and her grandchildren, Heidi Hoyt, Mota and Jenny Ries.
She is survived by: her parents, Alma L. Ostrander (Foley) and Floyd W. Ostrander; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Ostrander. She is also survived by 5 children, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Congdon & Co Funeral Directors (3012 Sheridan Rd, Zion, IL 60099). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Congdon Funeral Home (3012 Sheridan Rd, Zion, IL 60099).
