Loretta Meredith Turner Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loretta Meredith Turner of Mobile, Alabama, born in Opp, Alabama, who passed away on November 2, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wilson Turner and Gertha Turner; her daughter Yvonne Straughn; and her granddaughter Kari Nastasi. She is survived by: her children, Bret Straughn, Laurie Cook and Kristen Witteman; her grandsons, Kyle, Colin Cook and Caleb Nastasi; her brother Charles Turner; and her significant other Bill Chestnut.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ United Church (6101 Grelot Rd, Mobile, AL 36609). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, the American Cancer Society, or the charity of your choice.
