She was predeceased by: her husband Howard C. Blackmon; her parents, Dewey Phillips and Ella Phillips; and her siblings, Janie Sheffield and Gene Phillips.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Kimes of Mobile, AL, Pamela Rather of Chickasaw, AL and Debra Bosarge (Kenny) of Grand Bay, AL; her sister JoAn Standridge (Jarrell) of Winder, GA; her grandsons, Jeff Pierce, Shane Pierce, Benjamin Rather and Michael Rather; and her grandsons-in-law, Jeff Lambert, Jonathon Sema, Mike Cunningham, Kevin Draughon and Rob Patti. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
