With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lloyd Wray Black (Mobile, Alabama), born in Ackerman, Mississippi, who passed away on October 23, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Black and Ina Black; his former wife Ettie B. (Bunnie); his siblings, Alvin, Roy Black, Lera Black Jones and Dama Black Johnson; and his daughter Peggy Vaughn.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Black; his granddaughter Peggy Renee Courtney; his daughters, Pamela Gregg and Regina Davis; and his great grandchildren, Joey, Joey Jr., Matthew, Melanie, Sara, Caleb, Cody, Emerson, Julian, Aubrey, Norah, Sophia and Mason.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Blue Lake United Methodist Conference Center or Kingswood United Methodist Church.
