She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellie Ashford and Alton Ashford; her husband Nathan Coarsey; her siblings, Donald Ashford and Janet "Tiny" Wilson; and her children, Judy Wells and Stan Coarsey (Amy).
She is survived by: her siblings, Aurelia "Tug" Coarsey (Joe), Deborah "Tweety" Murray (Wayne) and Richard Ashford (Linda); and her children, Glenn Coarsey (JJ), Richard Coarsey (Brian), Gary "Bo" Coarsey (Tammy), Debbie Sapp (TC) and Geri O'Dell (Brian). She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Murphy Center (4156 Burma Rd, Mobile, AL 36693). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Dominic Catholic Church (4156 Burma Rd, Mobile, AL 36693). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mobile Memorial Gardens.
