She was predeceased by: her husband James R. West; her parents, William Robert Higginbottom and Winnie Amelia Yeargin Higginbottom; and her sons, Robert Don Morton and Thurston "Bubba" Morton Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Robbie Kay Morton, Donna Gail Mattison (Jack Mattison) and Terry Lee Nelson; and her grandchildren, Daphne, Bunny, Kim, Jamie, Paul Jr., Bobby, Fred, Jimmy, Jessica, Bo, Cheyenne, Clint, Chad and Chase. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
