He was predeceased by: his parents, Dot E. Dixon and Mary Smiley Mounger; his grandparents, Robert Smiley (Mamie) and Abraham Dixon (Serronnie); and his sister Elsa Dixon Moore.

He is survived by: his daughters, Erin Dixon of Prichard, AL, Tabitha Dexter, Kennita Dixon and Nicole Lyons; his siblings, Randy Dixon (Condrunnell) of Mobile, AL, Ronnie Dixon, Ruth Bryant Lynch (Earl) of Buffalo, NY, Sandra Bolden (Travis) and Janice Pace Tolbert (Leonard); his grandchildren, Kayla Dixon, Amiya Wesley, Kiara McBride, Dorian Ankom, Nakia Smith, Mondre Smith and Mekhia Tyes; his great-aunt Eula Mae Dixon of Prichard, AL; his significant other Debra Dexter of Pensacola, FL; and his friends, Tayla Banks and Priscilla Andrews. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
