Carter, Jr. (Kenya), Kylvin Dion Carter, Desiree Westry, Micheal Carter and Kennedy Carter; his grandchildren, JaKiya Benjamin, Ava Scott, Jeremiah Carter, Skylar Ferguson, Kendall Carter and Tavares Ferguson, Jr.; his siblings, Gary Carter (Tara), Gwenita Carter (Antonio), Patricia Ann Carroll, Willie Sullivan, Mary Funderburg (Phillip), Janice Taylor (Vernard), Barbara Fleeton (Sarah), Jackie Powell (Leon), Larry Sullivan (Pauline), Carolyn Carter (Alfred) and Veronica Bragg (Ed); his aunts, Gussie Carter and Charletta Kyser; his cousins, Jameyle Roberts and Cedric Carter; his nieces, Tia Carter and Breana Richardson; and his goddaughter Reshawn Cameron. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, mentors, and friends.
