He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Hollowell and Elease McLauren Hollowell; his brother James Elwood; and his cousin James Rodney Hollowell. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Ellison Hollowell; his children, Ralph (Caroline), Randal Elwood Clyde (Lauren), Rodney Hollowell, Samuel Lewis Ryan (Taylor) and Alexis Michelle Hollowell; and his brother George Edmond Hollowell. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family is creating a fund for the care and benefit of Bryson's daughter, Alexis, who has Williams Syndrome.
