He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Ella Smith and William Goodwin, Sr.; his grandparents, Jessie Davis, Johnnie Ella Jackson and Catherine Goodwin; his children, Claudetta Golden, Ruth Lisa Stallworth and Johnny Brint Goodwin, Jr.; and his sisters, Dorothy Goodwin, Donnia Catlin and Annie Bell Beckham.
He is survived by: his sons, Donnie Weston of Foley, AL, Steven Thompson of Foley, AL, Windell Calhoun of Foley, AL, Christopher Knight of Foley, AL and Anthony Watts, Sr. of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; his adoptive sons, Jeffery Jemison, Sr. (Ann) of Foley, AL and Larry Jemison (Brenda) of Fairhope, AL; and his grandchildren, Tiffany, Quinneisha, LaTonja, LaTasha (Patton), Catherine, Arneshia, Carneshia, Anthonesha, Nyheria, Eddie, Jr., Anthony (Duke), Travis, Brint, Xavier, Ricky (Grace), Allen, Alexander, Jamil, Quentin, Sr., Frederick (Titania), Gregory, Windell, Anthony, Jr., Micheal, Derrick and Dontavion. He is also survived by 14 great-granddaughters, 16 great-grandsons, a host of nieces, nephew's other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Small's Mortuary - Eastern Shore (8822 Co Rd 64, Daphne, AL 36526). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Southside Baptist Church (323 W Michigan Ave, Foley, AL 36535). A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the Southside Cemetery.
