She was predeceased by: her parents, Foster H. Creekmore and Bernice Creekmore; and her brother Jimmy. She is survived by: her husband William Elliott Hodges; and her siblings, Mary Jane Sands of Arizona and Wayne Creekmore of Oklahoma. She is also survived by friends and neighbors.
She crocheted for years making gits for family and friends, and donated over 100 afghans to a local nursing home.
