In the sacred silence of farewell, Joan is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben F. Cobb and Belle S. "Mama Cobb". She is survived by: her siblings, Roy E. Cobb, Earl P. Cobb, Mary C. Smith, Cecil G. "Matt" Cobb and Margaret C. Patrick; her sibling-in-law Crate M. Lovett; and her brother William H. Cobb of Birmingham. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (6040 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL 36619). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
