It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jimmy Booker of Mobile, Alabama, born in Meridian, Mississippi, who passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Eowin Booker and Bessie Irene Privett Booker; his siblings, Carolyn Booker, Frances Joan Booker Huff and Gary Booker; and his son-in-law David Henry Etheridge.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Janice Hayes Booker of Mobile, Alabama; his daughters, Valarie Lynne Booker Etheridge of Mobile and Tina Marie Booker Hanley (Robert Stephen) of Mobile, Alabama; and his granddaughters, Jessica Layne Etheridge Vegeliacich (Brent Cameron), Georgia and Natalie Lynne Etheridge of Mobile, Alabama. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (6040 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL 36619). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
Pallbearer: Charlie Massey, In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, or Mobile County Animal Shelter.
