It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. McNider Jr. of Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on April 17, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James E. McNider Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. McNider and Louise H. McNider. He is survived by: his wife Bessie Reese McNider; his children, Jeff McNider (Leigh), Alynne Clark (Tom), James McNider (Dena), Bart Watkins (Renee), Patrice Chavers (Billy), Denice Moseley (Mark) and Robert Camilleri; and his grandchildren, Thomas Clark (Sage), Elisabeth Clark, Emily Clark, Griffin McNider, Reilly McNider (Sonoma), Callie Andrews (Lane), Blake Chavers (Cooper), Hannah Webb (Logan), Connor Watkins and Ryan Watkins. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ascension Funeral Home & Crematory (1016 Hillcrest Rd, Mobile, AL 36695). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
