It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Donald Beattie (Mobile, Alabama), born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 30, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Martin Beattie and Regina Beattie (Jean); and his siblings, Natalie, Marty and Jerry.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Hare; his sons, Brian, Patrick (Stacey) and Timothy; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Liam and Estelle Beattie; and his siblings, John (Cathy), Robert (Joyce), Arthur (Angie), Peter Beattie (Erica) and Mary Russo.
