He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gene William Bassett and Earline Bassett; his children, Denisha Jones, Gwendolyn Isom (Demarkis) of Seattle, WA., Glenn Bassett of Mobile, AL. and Torris Taylor of Mobile, AL.; and his siblings, Constance Portlock (George) of Mobile, AL, James Bassett and Tarris Basset (Cynthia). He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren and one great grandson, and a host of nieces, nephews, and aunts and uncles, cousins.
