With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Euna Lee Hartley Newell of Mobile, Alabama, born in State Line, Mississippi, who passed away on March 28, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Norman Newell; her parents, Joseph Harrison Hartley and Mattie Bell Chason Hartley; her siblings, Velma Hartley, Ruby Hartley Broadus (James), Bertha Hartley Woodward (Bill), Joseph Harry Hartley (Muriel) and WJ Hartley (Frances); her nephews, Frank Peterson Woodward III and James Clinton Broadus; and her son Clennon Carlisle Kasal.
She is survived by: her pet Lucy; her grandchildren, Angela Lynne Kasal, Amy Kasal Mathers (JB), Joseph Hartley Kasal and William Harrison Kasal (Samantha); her great grandchildren, David Kirkwood Palmer, Jr. of Mobile, AL, Kayleigh Sullivan Jones of Mobile, AL, Matthew Lawrence Jones of Mobile, AL, William Andrews Mathers of Mobile, AL and Yekaterina Doyen of Seattle, WA; and her nieces and nephews, Myrtis Yvonne Mansfield (Dan) of Mobile, AL, Marion Maxine Broadus of Mobile, AL, Joseph William Woodward (Sandra) of Mobile, AL, Jackie Woodward Barnett (Phillip) of Mobile, AL, Sandra Hartley Baker of Mobile, AL, Joseph Duane Hartley of Mobile, AL, Charles Edward Broadus, Sr. (Cathy) of Daphne, AL and Darleen Hartley of Sacramento, CA..
