She is survived by: her husband Tom Aycock; her brother Leonard, Jr. (Gwen Metzger); her stepchildren, Michael Aycock and Sue Snipes; her daughters, Elsa Gaskell (Ed) of New Orleans, Harriet Simon (BC Ellis) of Mobile and Leah Simon (Peter Hazeloop) of Alexandria, VA.; her grandchildren, Perry and Clare Gaskell; her great grandchild Blakely Gaskell; and her nieces and nephews, Debbie Stephens (Thornton), Peggy Mills (Beau) and Lee Metzger (Belinda).
