She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Murrill and Irma Murrill; her husband James "Jim" Hunter; her son Keith Hunter; and her siblings, Buddy Murrill, Bitsy Murrill and Irma Mae Sheffield.
She is survived by: her children, Jamie Hunter and Lyn Reed (Eric); her daughter-in-law Paige Payne Hunter; her sister Pat Mayer (Paul); her grandchildren, Will Hunter (Stephanie), Bradley Reed, Elizabeth Hunter, Joseph Hunter (Victoria) and Thomas Hunter; and her friend Catherine Nelson Flynt. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, special nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, she requested donations be made to her favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
