He is survived by: his sisters, Deborah Logan Schmitz and Teresa Logan Schmidt (Herman); and his nieces and nephews, Lauren Schmitz Dempsey, Hannah Schmitz, Heather Curry, Justin Schmidt and Samantha Preston. He is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews.
