She was predeceased by: her father Woodie Jackson Hodges, Sr.; and her grandparents, James Thomas Hodges, Sr., Claudia Hodges, David Randolph Blue and Mattie Ruth Blue.
She is survived by: her niece Mattie LaPointe; her mother Ann Hodges (Blue); her brother Woodie Jackson Hodges, Jr.; her sibling-in-law Kelly Hodges (Striplin); her nephew Tyler; her niece Hannah Kate Hodges; her sister Ashley LaPointe (Hodges); her brother-in-law Jason LaPointe; her nieces and nephews, Alex and Maddie LaPointe; and her pet Callie Hodges. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Flowers can be sent to the funeral home Dignity Pine Crest - 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway or a donation can be made to McKemie Place or the American Cancer Society in Denise's name.
