Though Deloris may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She is survived by: her children, Jack Spearman (Peggy) and Thomas Wishon (Kristen); her brothers, Larry Johns and Earl Johns; and her grandchildren, Autumn, Crystal, Macy and Landon. She is also survived by six great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Valhalla Funeral Home (8730 Sims Rd, Eight Mile, AL 36613). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Valhalla Chapel (8730 Sims Rd, Eight Mile, AL 36613). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at the Valhalla Memorial Gardens (8730 Sims Rd, Eight Mile, AL 36613).
