With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clifton Buchanan Sr. (Mobile, Alabama), who passed away on December 16, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Clifton may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Clifton touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raschel Jenkins and Matthew Colley; and his sons, Gerald Buchanan and Kenneth Buchanan. He is survived by: his daughter Ester B. Hall (Lamont) of Georgia; and his sister Raschel Wood of Texas. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Small's Mortuary - Mobile (950 S Broad St, Mobile, AL 36603). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery (34904 AL-225, Spanish Fort, AL 36577).
