We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2022, at the age of 49, Charles R. Ford Sr. (Mobile, Alabama), born in Morgan City, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Dawn Stevens; and his grandparents, Dixie Awtrey of Oklahoma City, OK and Richard Ford, Sr. of Shreveport, LA.. He is survived by: his close friend Tammy Cummins; his sons, Charles Ford, Jr., Austin Ford (Jessica) and Devin Ford; his grandchildren, Kayden Ford, Abigail Ford, Payton Horton, Trey Scroggins and Adam Scroggins; his parents, Mary Thompson-Wallenberg (Terry) of Mobile, AL and Richard Ford, Jr. (Pat) of Pineville, LA; his siblings, Michael "Shane" Ford (Kristyn), Karla McDavid (Daniel) and Kimberly Black (Sean); and his nieces and nephews, Sophie McDavid, Liberty McDavid, Reagan McDavid, Bailey Black, Colin Wright, Landon McDavid, Wyatt McDavid and Luke Black.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Bras Across the Causeway, whose proceeds support local breast cancer patients.
