She was predeceased by: her husband Nathaniel Betton; her parents, Alfred Fox and Golee B. Fox; and her siblings, Eugene Hachett, Girlsea Pagan, Carl J. Fox and Mary Fox.

She is survived by: her son Alfred Fox of Mobile, Alabama; her sister Lola M. Smith of Detroit Michigan; and her goddaughter Valerie Boykin-Coleman of Boston, Massachusetts. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
