Though Carol may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wallace O'Gwynn and Ruth Lucille Boggs; her son John Brooks Wilkinson; and her husband Robert Brooks Wilkinson, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Mara Kay Wilkinson Taylor (Marvin); and her grandson Christopher Allen Marshall. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (6040 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL 36619). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
