He is survived by: his wife Edgena Peevy Hassell; his children, Kim Jones (Tom Butler) and Scott Hassell (Cindy); his granddaughters, Sarah Hassell Eddy (Ryan) and Rebecca Hassell Garcia (Sonny); and his great grandchildren, Hudson Scott Eddy and Lyla Mae Eddy.
