He is survived by: his wife Melba Butler Layton; his children, James Alan Layton (Anna), Lana Cumbaa (Paul) and Lori Crumbley (Ray); his grandchildren, Cherie Delaney (Chris), Audrey Yates (Ben), Alex Layton (Kaitlyn), Cody and Connor Crumbley; his great grandchildren, Wil O'Hara and Alexandria Delaney; his sister-in-law Wanda Layton; and his sister Gail Tucker. He is also survived by nieces, nephew and several great nieces and nephews.
