She was predeceased by: her parents, James David Brown and Grace Scott Brown; her husband Vaden Don Kennedy; and her siblings, Inez Wilson, Pauline Armistead and J. D. Brown.

She is survived by: her children, Kelly Ziebach (Gary), Marty Kennedy (Angela) and Kevin Kennedy (Amanda); her grandchildren, Ricky Ziebach (Ashley), Megan Hall (David), Kyle Kennedy, Scott Kennedy (Karen), Caitlin Newell (Alex) and Montgomery Kennedy (Emily); and her great grandchildren, Cooper Ziebach, Ava Ziebach, Phillip Hall, Camden Hall, Grady Newell and Tate Kennedy.
