With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ben McKenzie Jr. of Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on March 14, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Vera; and his son Clyde. He is survived by: his daughters, Bennie Thomas and ReJeana Turner; his daughter-in-law Brenda McKenzie; his grandchildren, Melani Thomas, Jesse Thomas, Troy Turner (Leigh), Tammy Bryant (Woodie), Keith McKenzie and Brett Turner (Ginny); and his pet Jag. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
