It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annette Byrd Diehl Williams (Mobile, Alabama), born in Lucedale, Mississippi, who passed away on September 23, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Effie Whatley Byrd and Grady Byrd; and her brother Ronnie Byrd (Mary Lou). She is survived by: her former husband George Roland Diehl; her daughter Cindy Diehl White (Tim); her husband Charles Herbert Williams; her grandson Matthew Hockman (Crystal); and her children, Patsy Dunnam (James), Jane Cooley (Lester), Paula Hancock (John) and Mark Williams. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
