He was predeceased by: his parents, Collie Hartley and Malry Hartley; his son William Hoyt Hartley; and his siblings, Jake Hartley, Russell Hartley, Harry Hartley, Louis Hartley, Lois Odom, Mary Alice Brown Pippins, Mable Hartley and Lucille Hartley.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Hartley (Aline) of Copeland, AL, LuAnn Williams (Russell) of Silas, AL and Renee McIlwain (Tommy) of Silas, AL; his daughter-in-law Sharon Hartley of Shalimar, FL; and his sister Dolly Cooper of Copeland, AL. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and eleven grat grandchildren.
