It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wallace Rayford Carpenter of Millry, Alabama, who passed away on December 16, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bodie Carpenter and E. C. Carpenter. He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Carpenter; his daughter Christy Williamson; his grandchildren, Courtney Moorer (Morgan), David Hester (Magen), Aaron Johnston (Lesley), Todd Carpenter and RaeAnn Carpenter; his great grandchildren, Jace Moorer, Andi, AJ, Zoey, Kiley, Colton and Easton Johnston; and his brother Dale Carpenter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and loving friends.
