It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sybil Gunn Toomey (Millry, Alabama), who passed away on January 23, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Theodore Gunn and Lucy Conner Gunn; her husband Walter H. Toomey, Jr.; her son Joseph Daniel Toomey; her brother Herbert Gunn; and her sister-in-law Ruby Gunn.
She is survived by: her children, Michael A. Toomey (Cindy) and Pam Linder (Mike); her grandchildren, Ginger Toomey, Brad Linder (Jennifer), DeRita Mason (James), Kaylon Whigham (Kelly), April Smith (Todd), Joshua Linder (Hannah) and Jason Linder (Jessica); and her great grandchildren, Maya, Hunter, Mollie, Mackensi (Jastin), Gabe, Tyler, Landrey, Ava, Gunner and Garrett.
