He is survived by: his children, Mark Dewayne Smith (Tina) of Laton Hill, AL, Ronnie Clay Smith (Deb) of Laton Hill, AL, Glenda Ann Oates of Tibbie, AL, Brenda Carol Oates (Mike) of Millry, AL and Jennie Maureen Smith Pippens (Adam) of Laurel, MS; and his siblings, Louise Loper of Fairhope, AL, Bernice Hagan of Buckatunna, MS and Walter Smith, Jr. (Sally) of Citronelle, AL. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
