She was predeceased by: her parents, Savall'Bud'Richland Hicks and Janie Lugene Cartwright Hicks; and her siblings, Nathan Hicks, Edith Lollar, Alice Beasley, Mary Sue Hicks and Lester Leo Hicks.

She is survived by: her children, Beverly Busby (Randy), Christopher'Andy' Baxter (Ning), Krista Phillips (Sherman) and Daphne Carpenter; her grandchildren, Dustin Sullivan (Elizabeth), Constance Goldman (Johnathan), Hunter Sullivan (Shelby), Kerrigan Carpenter and Blaine Watts; and her great grandchildren, Natalie Sullivan, C. J. Sullivan, Layton Sullivan, Brody Goldman, Ledger Sullivan, Colton Goldman, Annabelle Sullivan, Ryker Long, Lucie Kayte Sullivan and Oakleigh Abigail Goldman. She is also survived by five step-grandchildren.
