With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Oscar Gardner Jr. of Millry, Alabama, born in Waynesboro, Mississippi, who passed away on April 24, 2022 at the age of 42. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Oscar F. Gardner, Sr.; and his brothers, Pete Tate, Bobby Don Tate, Terry Tate and James "Jimmy" Gardner.

He is survived by: his mother Margaret Gardner; his wife Rosie A. Gardner of Millry, AL; his sons, Bobby Joe Gardner (Portia) of Millry, AL, Mallie Gardner of Millry, AL and Roger Sullivan of McIntosh, AL; his nephew Cameron Gardner of Millry, AL; his sister Amy Gardner Hearn of Lisman, AL; his grandchildren, Tucker Dearman, Emeri Jo Gardner and Finleigh Gardner; his nephew Caden Gardner; and his niece Emilee Hearn.
