She was predeceased by: her father John Sidney Armstrong; her daughter Phoebe Hartley; her mother Sara Elizabeth Crump Armstrong; her siblings, Richard Armstrong, James Sidney Armstrong and Ila Mae Scarbrough; and her grandson James Patrick Hannie.
She is survived by: her husband Simmie Harold Hartley of Millry, AL; her children, Simmie Harold "Hal" Hartley (Vicki) of Lebanon, TN and Anita Kay Hartley Hannie (Chris) of Baton Rouge, LA; her siblings, John Henry Armstrong of Millry, AL and Eva Rigney of Hoover, AL; her grandchildren, Jordan, Sidney, Thomas and Andrew; and her great grandchild Caden.
