He was predeceased by: his parents, Dessie Stokley and Slater Stokley; his siblings, Clarence Stokley of Jerry Stokley, Clarice Loper, Eunice Eddie and Lessie Bridier; and his grandson Joshua Stokley.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Stokley; his sons, Jackie Stokley (Denise), Tim Stokley (Lisa) and Terry Stokley (Tina); and his siblings, Leon Stokley of Silas, AL, Johnny Stokley, Dennis Stokley and Francis Shirley of Laurel, MS. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter.
