With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geneva Stewart of Millry, Alabama, born in Waynesboro, Mississippi, who passed away on September 30, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. James A. Holland and Suzy Pugh Holland; her husband Joe D. Stewart; and her brothers, Wilford Holland, Chester Holland and David Holland.
She is survived by: her daughters, Regina Gant (Wayne) of Millry, AL and Melissa "Lisa" Currie (Bo) of Chunchula, AL; and her siblings, Charles Holland (Pat) of Saraland, AL, James Holland (Ann) of Creola, AL, Bobby Holland of Saraland, AL and Esther Howell (Bill) of Saraland, AL. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; a host of nieces and nephews.
