He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Jean Kirkland of Millry, AL; his children, Kathleen Smith (Sherman) of Mobile, AL and Steven Kirkland (Cristin) of Maryville, TN; his siblings, Roy Kirkland (Melanie) of Millry, AL, Bill Kirkland (Cheryl) of McIntosh, AL, Edward Kirkland (Gloria) of McIntosh, AL, Dale Douglas of Chickasaw, Wanda Rivers of Chickasaw, AL and Juanette Stewart (Dennis) of Mobile, AL; and his grandchildren, Tyler Smith (Tiffani) of Lucedale, MS, Noah Kirkland of Saraland, AL and Gabrielle Smith (Luke Bryant) of Mobile, AL. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
