He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Forbus, Sr. and Earline Forbus; his wife Deborah Forbus; his son Cheston Dearmon; and his brother Ricky Forbus.
He is survived by: his son Christopher Forbus (Erica); his brother Jerry "Skip" Forbus, Jr. (Robin); and his grandchildren, Layla Forbus, Evan Bonner and Luke Bonner.
