She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Revis "Buck" Burkhalter; her stepson William K. "Billy" Burkhalter; her son-in-law Lynn Jordan; and her parents, John Rushing and Eppie Nabors Rushing.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy Jordan, Carl Burkhalter (Holly) and Clark Cooper; and her grandchildren, Felicia (Brandon), Tracy (Justin), Tiffany, Chrystal, Emily, Jonathan, Patrick and Ruby. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
